Lions Day with the United Nations in  Geneva

Every year, the over 70 years partnership between Lions Clubs International and the United Nations is celebrated in New York in March.

This year, for the first time, a Lions Day with the United Nations in Geneva is organised, on Wednesday September 27, the day before  the opening of the Lions Europa Forum in Montreux.

It is an official LCI event and it will be attended by the International President Dr Naresh Aggarwal, as well as by other Executive Officers of our association and members of the Board.


The attendees will have the pleasure to meet and listen to several prestigious speakers. The detailed agenda and the list of the speakers will be available here very soon.

All lectures will be translated from and to English, French, German and Italian

The Program of the day will be as follows:
07:30 : Bus from Montreux for those arriving to Montreux on or before Tuesday
08:30 : Registration for those attending the visit
09:30 : Guided Tour of the Palais des Nations 
09:45 : Registration continues for those not attending the visit
11:00 : LDUNOG morning session (download the agenda)
12:45 : Lunch
14:15 : LDUNOG afternoon session
16:15 : End of the LDUNOG
16:45 : Departure of the buses to Montreux

For those flying in to Geneva on Wednesday early morning, buses will be organised from the airport to the United Nations. The luggage will be stored in the bus during the meeting.

Please plan to be at the Palais des Nations (Pregny Gate) by 8:30 a.m. if taking the tour, and otherwise by 9:45, to allow time for security clearance and passage to the meeting room.
